Humble Bundle has announced a new subscription service, the Humble Monthly Bundle.
Speaking with IGN, Humble confirmed its new program will exist separately from the other deals it already operates. The service will cost you $12 per month, with 5% of the cost going directly to charities.
For the cost, you’ll get a mix of newer hits and classic games. All games in the bundle will be unknown until the moment they’re released.
“The goal of the Humble Monthly is to present an offering of games to our audience that we normally wouldn’t be able to deliver to them,” said Robert Bowling, VP and Creative Director at Humble Bundle. “So while the typical Humble Bundle is a fantastic way to get games you may have missed when they first came out, the Humble Monthly is a highly curated collection of our favorite games, new and classic, sent to you directly every month.”
At launch, all games in the monthly bundle will include Steam codes. However, in the future, some games will be DRM-free and may not be on Steam, or may appear on other platforms.
“The one constant is that all games will be playable on Windows PCs,” Bowling added, “but as with all Humble products, we focus on supporting as many platforms as possible.”
Signups will start today over at Humble. When you subscribe, you’ll instantly receive Legend of Grimrock 2, a first-person dungeon crawler. The first round of games will arrive on November 6.
