Assassin’s Creed Film Steps Into A Very Different Animus In First Trailer

[ad_1]

Our first look at the Assassin’s Creed film is here, with Michael Fassbender doing double duty as a convicted (and executed) felon and his ancestor. The first footage shows shiny Templar front company Abstergo and the dusty past of the Spanish Inquisition.

We’ll certainly see more on the road to the December 21 release. Ubisoft is taking a leap of faith with the movie, hoping to bring the eternal struggle between Assassin and Templar to an entirely new audience.

And if you happen to miss the trailer when it aired live on the Jimmy Kimmel Show last night, it's worth seeing how it was introduced. Have an "in-creedable" day.
