“Apollo 11 Experience” confirmed as launch title for PlayStation VR

Virtual Reality can be used for so much more than just gaming. One of the other top attractions will be “experience” based apps and games, where players get to experience major events in a much more realistic manner with VR.

One of those is the “Apollo 11 Experience”, which gives the player a chance to experience the Apollo 11 space mission, which brought man to the moon in 1969.

The “game” was funded by a kickstarter campaign, and will be available on a variety of VR headsets, including the PlayStation VR, where it will be a launch title.

If you want more space VR, NASA is working on a game called “Mars 2030”, which puts the player on Mars instead of the moon.

You can check out a lengthy gameplay video of Apollo 11 Experience below.
